We are often asked what to do with mature perennials whose stems have toppled under the weight of snow (in winter) or flowers (during the growing season).
Instead of rushing to stake them, or worse, cutting them off prematurely, let them mingle and poke into their garden companions. This effectively allows you to ‘reframe’ the landscape and see it in a way you might normally not.
