When we improve the appearance of the land, we are working in an area of higher consciousness, or awareness, to define spaces of purpose and tell the stories of the people who live there.
We work for something greater than ourselves and are not motivated by personal gratification but by lasting fulfillment and transformation for the land and the people who inhabit it. We see both the hard ‘physical’ forms in the land and consciously feel its energy and spirit.
Human beings energetically interact with the objects and people in their environments, and eliminating and purging sources of stagnant energy and negativity creates space for new experience and inspiration to enter and flow into life.
In understanding the essence and energy of an environment we are free to choose new and better ways of designing and constructing. We let go of the old and delight in new possibilities in light, space, movement, and form. The transformation that is achieved reduces chaos and distraction and increases opportunity for reflection, healing, and calm.
